About Dr. Slemko, BSC, DDS, FCDC (BC)

 

Dr. Ronald M. Slemko is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Vancouver, British Columbia and the surrounding areas. He is committed to providing the finest surgical care in oral and maxillofacial surgery, implant dentistry, and facial rejuvenation.

 

Dr. Slemko has over 30 years of experience with current and advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Slemko takes great pride in bringing his patients the latest in technologically advanced, comfort-oriented, oral and maxillofacial care.

Oral and  Maxillofacial Surgery Background Information

 

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is surgery to treat many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region.

 

Dr. Slemko practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

 

Surgical Staff

 

Dr. Slemko's surgical staff  is comprised of certified medical anesthesiologists, registered nurses and certified dental assistants who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified. The clinical nursing staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation or outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
